Over the last 29 years, Tesrol has grown from humble beginnings as a timber joinery business into a major multi-sector property development company.

In this time, the property development division has evolved from industrial development to commercial and then luxury residential.

Our business has succeeded by never compromising on quality in anything we do. We put our reputation on the line with every project and so our standards are extremely high.

If Tesrol develops it, then it must be a development that we would be proud to live or work in ourselves.

As such all our developments are about offering the customer the best possible property available, be it an industrial factory, a commercial office space, or apartments which offer unrivalled inclusions and localities.

Our heritage

Tesrol was created in 1980, in a small factory in the Sydney suburb of Girraween.

Based on their love of timber and joinery, Jorge Fernandez and his father saw a gap in the market and started to produce high quality kitchen cupboard doors for other cabinet makers.

The business was an unprecedented success. Tesrol Joinery quickly became renowned throughout the country for high quality doors and finishes. The success of the joinery operation allowed the business to expand into property development in 1983 which subsequently became the group’s key focus.

Our portfolio

With over 50 projects with a total value of $600 million in our development portfolio we have a wealth of experience in all sectors – from residential to industrial and commercial. Our experience ranges from signature projects such as the award-winning “Manhattan” apartments in Elizabeth Bay, and “Star of the Sea”, a luxury residential resort style apartments in Terrigal to a series of industrial facilities throughout Western Sydney.

Our philosophy is simple. We believe that good architecture, design and quality finishes are paramount – and so we ensure this is a key feature of every project we complete.

Tesrol is one of the lesser known of Australia’s group of leading property developers. This low-profile position has been purposeful on our behalf. Rather than place enormous focus on ourselves, our objective has been to place prime focus on our developments and the markets they serve. To date, this approach has served us well.

In residential, our focus is luxury. Whether it be the complex refurbishment of heritage buildings, a selection of contemporary waterfront apartments on Sydney harbour or the development of a major seaside resort at Terrigal on the central coast.

As a balance to this, we have also completed over 300 000sqm of industrial facilities in the high growth regions of Sydney’s western suburbs over the last two decades.

Within this history, the Tesrol group has completed a range of projects, from design and construct to refurbishment of commercial office space, shopping centres, bulky goods facilities, service centres and land subdivisions.
